STRANGER

The sentence “She felt like a stranger in this world” inspired this project. The intention was to create the title sequence of a fictional full-length film. The protagonist just arrived in Hong Kong, a city so different from what she was used to before. But what had been home to her before broke apart and so she came here for a new start. Overwhelmed, and lost at first, she slowly warms up to her new environment and learns to love the little things in life again. An old romance between a young woman and her new home.The titles were animated by hand in Procreate using the actress’ handwriting.
